I would like to welcome you to scrapyard quilt shop.
the pizza box club has grown to 18. The ladies brought their blocks and are so beautiful and unique. I can't wait to see the next ones. the next meeting is August 20th at 3:00 pm.
I have my row by row done. I did two of them this year. One is a pasture scene with lambs and the other is a row of cute little dogs. I have my license plates that say scrapyard dawg.
I have new batiks and fabrics that I picked up. AlsoI have some Robert kaufman coming next week. I just got some Timelesss Treasures Ombres, orange to yellow and gray to light gray. The orange one makes a pattern called behind bars, very modern. Come in and check them out. there is a beautiful bluebird fabric line coming this month. I also have a chickadee panel that is here. Lots of new and exciting fabrics are on their way.
While in Shipshewanna this month. I have discovered a brand new hot designer and will be carrying her line coming is September, guaranteed you will be awed!!!!!!!!
The Salem quilt guilds second meeting October 2nd at 4:00 at the shop. the meeting will be held at the Pioneer Village in LaPorte. If you need directions, please let me know. We are in for another fun treat. I still have a few spots left so let me know if you are interested.

In this, the third Salem Guilt Guild panel, let me introduce you to our instructors.... Incantacia Adderwick, of the highly esteemed South Drudge Adderwick's....purveyors of the fine antique books and spellbooks, will be teaching everyone her foolproof incantations for un-sewing. She's brought her owl, Chester, to observe the meeting. Our other instructor tonight is Calendula Patterdrip, owner of the Witches Stitches Quilting and Needlework Shop in Hocuspocusville. She'll be demonstrating some new wands and spells (available in her shop NOW) that will revolutionize the way you embroider!!
Many of the ladies are ready to learn! Petunia Tropshire is the owner of the famous North Spellcaster Gardens. Her nursery of exotic herbs is famous among the Witching community. she also has the largest selection of witchbane on the Eastern Seaboard!! Petunia's best friend Hester Krinkwhistle, is the owner of Hester's U-Pick Farm Stand in Hocuspocusville. Next is Debesta Flum, (She runs Flum's Tea Room in North Spellcaster...you really MUST go there while you're in town!! Her Oleander Tea us TO DIE FOR!!!!) and Esmeralda Glump, owner of the Toil and Trouble Employment Agency, which has served Hocuspocusillians since 1694!!!!
Learning the new stitching spells, are Hermoine Hermunculus, owner of Hermione's Split Ends in Hocuspocusville, and Lowella Fig ( She runs Spooky Lou's Used Brooms with her mortal husband...SCANDALOUS!!!.....get somebody to tell you ALL the particulars!....witches love gossip!)
